Similar to a dental crown, a dental bridge replaces missing teeth. This is done by attaching the bridge to the real teeth located on either side of the gap. Made from similar materials as those used for crowns, a dental bridge is an option if you have two healthy teeth on either side of the gap created by the missing tooth. In some cases the dental bridge is fixed with a dental implant.

Bridges are a proven and effective way to replace 1-2 teeth at a time, as long as you have a healthy tooth on either side of the gap. The bridge itself is made to resemble 3-4 natural teeth in a row, but either end is a crown that rests over the supporting tooth.

Like crowns, bridges can be integrated with a pair of dental implants for multi-tooth replacement.
